Life is Nothing Without JOURNEY
What started as a simple hobby in landscape photography has grown into something much bigger — Lifetrip Journey. Founded in 2018 by Fikri Muharom, Lifetrip Journey began as a passion-driven initiative and quickly evolved into Indonesia’s largest Photo Tour Event Organizer. Together with others dedicated team/mentors including Widya Indah Nurmalasari, Jack Firman, and Bagas Fekaramboga Djinargo, Lifetrip Journey set out to share the art of landscape photography with fellow travellers and enthusiasts.
The name "Lifetrip" has been part of Fikri's journey since high school, representing the idea of capturing the essence of life’s unforgettable moments. In 2018, that idea blossomed into Lifetrip Journey, where passion for photography and the love of adventure come together to create unique travel experiences.
Today, Lifetrip Journey offers a wide range of photo tour destinations both across Indonesia and around the world. From the lush landscapes of Sumatra and Bali, to the stunning fjords of Norway and the rugged beauty of Patagonia, we bring photographers of all levels to some of the most breathtaking spots on the planet. Our destinations span across diverse locations such as:

Our story
When we first dreamed up Lifetrip Journey, we had no idea that our passion project would blossom into this—or, even less so, that we could make a living from it for ourselves and the other photographers who are now part of the Lifetrip Journey crew. It started as a heartwarming adventure—a way to blend our love for travel and photography while sharing our excitement for exploration with others.
In 2016, Ascen began writing her personal Spanish-language travel blog, Atlas de una Amazona, where she documented her first trips across Asia and Europe. Meanwhile, Dan’s photography began attracting attention, showcasing his talent for capturing stunning landscapes and enchanting night skies. In 2017, when Ascen landed a job in the United States, we decided to move there and rebrand, seeking a name that reflected our new adventures and made our content more accessible to a global audience.
